PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable recycling of materials, recycling of constituent parts, shortening of a disassembling time, and reduction in cost necessary for disassembly, in a method for disassembling a cell phone.SOLUTION: By hermetically applying a heat-insulation material 4 to a display surface 2 of a cell phone 1 in which at least the enclosure and part of each external panel are made of a plastic material and thereafter the plastic material is heated by exposing the cell phone 1 to superheated steam to soften the plastic material.
