PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide colored amorphous silica fine particles in which a colorant is uniformly dispersed.;SOLUTION: The colored amorphous silica fine particles have an L value stipulated by JIS Z8722 of ≤94, contain one or more uniformly dispersed coloring elements selected form Fe, Cu, V, Cr, Mn, Co and Ni, and have a degree of crystallization of ≤10%. Since the colorant is dispersed in the particles, the colored state can be stably kept. When laser processing is applied, the particles have the advantage that all particles are uniformly heated by the energy of absorbed laser light. If heating proceeds uniformly, particles in the laser light irradiated portion can be reliably melted and processing accuracy can be enhanced. By the L value set to the above range, the effects can be more reliably produced. Since the degree of crystallization is in the above range, the coloring elements are more uniformly dispersed and excellent laser processability is ensured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
