PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system having an ID registration management function which requires only one exclusive non-contact ID medium for a plurality of general non-contact ID media thereby reducing costs and labor, and to provide an ID registration management method in the security system. PSOLUTION: Exclusive IDs of an exclusive non-contact ID medium thats stores a plurality of exclusive IDs having a system exclusive to an operation terminal held over an ID reading part are registered in the operation terminal. The operation terminal authenticates the exclusive non-contact ID medium having the registered exclusive IDs, selects an exclusive ID of the authenticated exclusive non-contact ID medium for use, and associates the general ID of a general non-contact ID medium held over the ID reading part and storing one general ID having a general system to the selected exclusive ID.
