PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the distribution of current density on the power generation surface of a fuel cell easily and accurately.SOLUTION: The measurement device 10 of a fuel cell 12 comprises a plurality of paired electrode segments 44a, 44b having a rectangular plane and dividing the power generation surface region of an electrolyte membrane and electrode structure 14 into a plurality of regions, a pair of insulation sheets 42a, 42b arranged between one pole, i.e. the plurality of electrode segments 44a, and the other pole, i.e. the plurality of electrode segments 44b, and a plurality of thin film resistors 50 arranged between the pair of insulation sheets 42a, 42b corresponding thereto.
