PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a subject perform finger hygiene actions required at each occasion. PSOLUTION: A finger hygiene action state detection and advice system 100 includes a PC 10 and acceleration sensors 12a-12d. When the body move of the subject is detected through the acceleration sensors 12a-12d, CPU (22) of the PC 10 identifies the subject's action by comparing the detection result with an action DB (52) (S7), and traces transition of the finger hygiene state accompanying the subject's action by comparing the recognition result with a state transition model DB (54) (S1, S19). The system detects the state that necessary finger hygiene actions may not be taken, based on the recognition result and the trace result (S11), and presents an advice mainly involving an alarm to the state to the subject through a portable terminal 18 (S13).
