PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding technology capable of enhancing reliability of feeding detection.;SOLUTION: A feeding device 10 includes: a tray 11 for feeding a livestock; a cylindrical body 50 which is disposed above the tray 11 and where the feed is introduced at one position and the feed is discharged to the tray 11 at the other position; a detector 12 which detects the feed retained in the tray 11; and an auxiliary detector 12A which assists the detector. The detector 12 and the auxiliary detector 12A respectively have operation plates 14, 14A which operate upon receiving a pressing force from the feed retained on the tray 11. The operation plate 14 of the detector 12 is provided inside the cylindrical body 50 above the tray 11, and the operation plate 14A of the auxiliary detector 12A is provided inside the cylindrical body 50 above the operation plate 14 of the detector 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
