PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a temperature distribution inside a post-combustion furnace in a treatment apparatus of organic wastes and to suppress clinker, NOx, and NO.SOLUTION: Dehydrated organic wastes 3 are supplied from a dry cake feeder 13 to a gasifying furnace 14. Pyrolysis gas generated by pyrolytically decomposing the organic wastes 3 in the gasifying furnace 14 is supplied to a post-combustion furnace 16 for combustion after a gasifying residue is separated via a cyclone 15. A temperature sensor 16a is provided inside the post-combustion furnace 16 to measure a temperature. A control part 30 computes a temperature deviation &Dgr;T between a measurement temperature and a preset target temperature. When a computed temperature difference is not within a given temperature difference range, the control part 30 changes the number of revolutions of a motor 13a of the dry cake feeder 13 by the number of revolutions &Dgr;f which turns to the linear relationship for the temperature deviation &Dgr;T. An input heat load, which corresponds to a combustible portion of the organic wastes 3 which are supplied from the dry cake feeder 13 to the gasifying furnace 14, is made constant.
