PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of deformation, and to reduce the amount of calculation more than that of a conventional image deformation method. PSOLUTION: In an image deformation method, a movement amount of each apex in a control grid for deforming an image is acquired by a reference point set in an original image before deformation and a target point indicating a movement destination of the reference point, and the control grid in which the movement amount of each apex has been acquired is used to deform the original image. The method includes: a part setting step (step S1) of setting a plurality of parts in the original image; and a grid interval setting step (step S3) of setting a grid interval of the control grid with respect to each of the plurality of parts.
