PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically making existence of an artificial structure by using travel history data of a probe car, and a method thereof.;SOLUTION: The existence of the artificial structure is specified based on a comparison result obtained by calculating an inclination angle of a travel road surface where the probe car travels from the travel history data of the probe car as a travel road surface inclination angle, calculating the inclination angle at a spot where the travel road surface is positioned from map data as a geographical inclination angle, and comparing the calculated travel road surface inclination angle and the calculated geographical inclination angle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
