PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standard sample for calibration that is used for calibrating highly sensitive water vapor permeability measuring device for measuring water vapor permeability, and a method for calibrating the water vapor permeability measuring device by using the standard sample for calibration.;SOLUTION: The sample is used for calibration of the water vapor permeability measuring device, and includes a tubular body 11 made of stainless steel, a resin 12 packed inside the tubular body, and a joint 13 for connecting the water vapor permeability measuring device to both ends of the tubular body. The method for calibrating the water vapor permeability measuring device includes a step of attaching the standard sample for calibration 10 to a water vapor introduction line or a water vapor detection line of the water vapor permeability measuring device, and a step of calibrating the water vapor permeability measuring device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
