PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the water barrier structure between a vertical water barrier member and a laid water barrier member capable of properly continuing the water barrier function of the vertical water barrier member having at least a hard part in a vertical direction and the laid water barrier member, and an execution method thereof. PSOLUTION: The water barrier structure is formed between the vertical water barrier member 2, which has at least the hard part in the vertical direction to be vertically embedded in an underground wall 1, and the laid water barrier members 3 and 4 arranged in the periphery of the underground wall in order to continue the water barrier function of the vertical water barrier member and the water barrier function of the laid water barrier members and a water barrier material 5 is provided around the parietal end part 2a exposing the vertical water barrier member from the upper end 1a of the underground wall and the edge side end parts 3a and 4a of the laid water barrier members, which are arranged so as to leave a distance from the parietal end part, so as to collectively cover those end parts.
