PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a stabilized polyolefin-based resin expanded particle improving problems in deterioration of productivity without causing sticking or flattening when the polyolefin-based resin expanded particle is produced.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyolefin-based resin expanded particle includes housing a dispersion containing a polyolefin-based resin particle, an aqueous medium, and an inorganic dispersant in a pressure-resistant container; carrying out dispersion under stirring conditions; heating up the dispersion to a softening point temperature of the polyolefin-based resin particle or above; then releasing the dispersion in the pressure-resistant container into a region at a lower pressure than the internal pressure of the pressure-resistant container; and expanding the polyolefin-based resin particle. In the method for producing the polyolefin-based resin expanded particle, the inorganic dispersant has an average particle diameter (L) of ≥0.005 μm, and a particle density (H) of ≥1 g/cm3, and satisfies the following formula (1): particle density (H) (g/cm3)5.5-0.2857×average particle diameter (L) (μm).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
