PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect a large amount of information necessary for tuning a distributed parallel program.;SOLUTION: The performance information collection device collecting performance information about a plurality of processes included in the distributed parallel program includes: a collection means collecting the performance information in each process; a reference condition storage means storing a reference condition for continuously collecting the performance information; a decision means deciding whether the performance information of a target process collected by the collection means during a time set in advance satisfies the reference condition stored in the reference condition storage means; and a collection continuation control means controlling the collection means to continue collecting the performance information of the target process by the collection means when a decision result of the decision means is satisfactory and to stop collecting the performance information of the target process when the decision result of the decision means is unsatisfactory.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
