A battery pack, a mobile device using the same, a method for detecting inner short and a computer-readable medium are provided to secure safety in case that the short occurs in a battery unit consisting of secondary batteries. A battery pack(100) comprises a current detecting unit, a voltage detecting unit and a short detecting unit. The current detecting unit detects the current which flows in a battery unit consisting of a plurality of secondary batteries. The voltage detecting unit detects the voltage of the battery unit. The short detecting unit detects the inner short of the battery unit. The short detecting unit determines the generation of the inner short in the battery unit when the voltage value difference is detected.
