PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection apparatus having a reduced size and a memory with a reduced capacity. PSOLUTION: A relay device 200 is provided with a memory 66 for storing roughly corrected data formed at a larger interval than a sampling period of an RDC 64, acquires digital angle signal values by sampling resolver signals, corrects a corresponding digital angle signal value among the acquired digital angle signal values based on the roughly corrected data, interpolates, with respect to the digital angle single values other than the corresponding digital angle signal value, the roughly corrected data corresponding to before and after the digital angle signal values in the time series, and corrects the digital angle signal values based on the interpolated results.
