PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand tool capable of utilizing force more than hand force to press handles of the hand tool having at least a handle having a hard surface with low friction in a controllable range.;SOLUTION: This hand tool 2 includes the handles 4, 5, 6 and 7 and jaws 12 and 14, and the jaws 12 and 14 are operated by the handles 4, 5, 6 and 7. An anti-skid means 20 is provided at the outside 22 of an end 24 of the handles 4, 5 and 7 of the tool 2. The handles 4, 5 and 7 of the tool 2 have hard surfaces 26, 28 and 30 with low friction. When a user grips the handles 4, 5 and 7, his fingers therefore can be slid on the hard surfaces 26, 28 and 30.
