PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle-containing composition to be prepared while easing restrictions on the kinds of a resin material and a reactive silane coupling agent, which are combined with a fine particle, regardless of the particle size of the fine particle.;SOLUTION: The surface of a fine particle material is treated with a non-reactive silane coupling agent before treated with the reactive silane coupling agent. To be more specific, the fine particle-containing composition includes a dispersion medium being a liquid at normal temperature and the fine particle material consisting of inorganic matter which has 300 nm volume-average particle size and is dispersed in the dispersion medium. The fine particle-containing composition is mixed in a thermosetting and/or photosetting resin material.
