PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a sidewall so as to inhibit the development of bear, while maintaining an appropriate flexural fatigue resistance and a low heat generation property even in the case of blending regenerated rubber. PSOLUTION: This rubber composition for the side wall is obtained by blending 20 to 60 pts.wt. carbon black having a ≤90 mSP2/SP/g nitrogen adsorption specific surface area, and the 2 to 20 pts.wt. regenerated rubber based on 100 pts.wt. diene-based rubber containing 10 to 60 wt.% natural rubber, and is characterized in that the Mooney viscosity of the regenerated rubber is 35 to 65, the natural rubber-containing ratio of the regenerated rubber is ≥60 wt.%, and the weight-average molecular weight of sol of the regenerated rubber, obtained by a gel permeation chromatography is ≤60,000.
