PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection size calculation system that calculates an object detection size as setting information for a fixed camera system capable of detecting an object by comparing with learned data.SOLUTION: The object detection size calculation system comprises: a background region obtaining section 11 that obtains data on a background region from image data sampling, and records the data in background region data 16; a moving body detection section 12 that detects a pixel set of a moving body region in each frame by comparing data recorded in the background region data 16; a contour extraction section 13 that extracts contours of the pixel set in the moving body region, a rectangle calculation section 14 that calculates rectangles including the contour, calculates an average size of the rectangles within the frame, and records the data in the rectangle data 17; and a rectangle size calculation section 15 that calculates a range of size of the rectangles from a predetermined reference based on a distribution of the average size of the rectangles accumulated in the rectangle data 17 within a predetermined period, and outputs the result as an object detection size 25.
