PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform electrostatic spray of a pesticide by driving a pest-control pump and surely cancel an electrostatic function in maintenance to ensure safety.;SOLUTION: There is provided a self-propelled pest-controlling machine provided with an electrostatic spraying device 13 comprising a spray nozzle 11 to eject a pesticide solution to a crop on a field and a charging part 12 to apply electrostatic charge to the pesticide solution to be sprayed from the spray nozzle 11, a pesticide solution tank 5 to store the pesticide solution, and the pest-control pump 8 to pressurize the pesticide solution in the pesticide solution tank 5 and supply it to the spray nozzle 11. Application of high voltage to the charging part 12 of the electrostatic spraying device 13 is automatically started nearly simultaneously with the throwing operation of a control pump switch 19 to start the drive of the control pump 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
