PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cap for a terminal in a shape such that the cap can be retained so as not to fall off from an electric wire terminal.;SOLUTION: A rubber cap moves and covers the terminal after fastening the terminal for bolt fastening which is movably mounted on an electric wire in advance, and crimp-connected to the electric wire terminal to the counter-member by a bolt or a nut. The cap includes a first cylindrical part for an electrical contact part cover which has a cylindrical form to have the inner diameter outwardly fitted into the round electrical contact part of the terminal, and the lower face of the axial direction end face is opened, while the upper face is closed; and a second cylindrical part for an electric wire connection side cover of the terminal which is communicated and extended in an axial right direction in an opening installed on a side face of the first cylindrical part. The second cylindrical part is equipped with the opening for terminal extraction leading to the opening of the lower face of the first cylindrical part. The second cylindrical part has a cross-sectionally oval shape, and its short axis size is made smaller than the maximum width of the electrical contact part of the terminal. In the second cylindrical part, the directions of the terminal is insertable in a vertical direction. A pair of locking protrusions to be fitted into a hollow at a boundary position on both sides of the electrical contact part and an electric wire connection part of the terminal in the vertical direction is protrudedly installed from the inner face of the second cylindrical part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
