P To provide activation-recovery of GFP function using a β type zeolite-containing refolding buffer. PSOLUTION: The method for activation-recovery of GFP (green fluorescent protein) function comprises adding a β type zeolite-containing refolding buffer to GFP and incubating the GFP at a fixed temperature for a fixed time to carry out GFP refolding and activation-recovery of GFP function. The method for producing an active GFP comprises adapting the method for an activation-recovery of GFP function to an inactive or low active GFP to recover an active GFP having activation-recovery of function.
