PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job execution system for smoothly letting a standby system server take over the control of a job flow by an operating system server. PSOLUTION: Under normal conditions, a job is input from the operating system server 70 to job execution servers 100, 110 and executed. At the job execution server 100, 110, job execution situation information indicating the start, execution or end of the job is recorded. If a system switching state occurs while the job execution servers 100, 110 are executing the job, the waiting system server 80 collects the job execution situation information from the job execution servers 100, 110 and a place where the job flow is resumed (resumption point) is determined based on the job execution situation information.
