Customers making purchases via a mobile payments method involving an electronic receipt (ereceipt) will be provided the option to participate in a direct to consumer CPGOEM program. A module within their mobile wallet will detect new receipts and submit them to the CPGOEM Coalition Loyalty System. Once submitted to the CPGOEM Coalition Loyalty System, ereceipts will be decomposed and purchased items within the ereceipt will be associated to individual CPGsOEMs. Purchased items identified to individual participating CPGOEM loyalty programs will have associated action invoked (e.g., discount, awarding of points or other marketing activities).
