Computationally implemented methods and systems include acquiring from a plurality of users a plurality of open bids for one or more content access latencies, each of the plurality of open bids to be received indicating one or more offer amounts submitted by the plurality of users that the plurality of users are offering in exchange for being provided at least access to a specific content with the one or more content access latencies; determining which one or more of the plurality of open bids indicate at least the highest offer amount amongst the plurality of open bids; and providing at least access to the specific content to one or more of the plurality of users in accordance, at least in part, with the determining.
