TURN-AIR CONTRACTOR CONTROL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD. The present invention relates to a counter-control assembly for mounting a tailplane of a slewplane wherein the slewplane has a single main rotor, no tail rotor, and no vertical tail stabilizer. The assembly has an air intake chamber with at least a first opening for receiving an air flow stream and a paddle assembly housed within the air intake chamber. The paddle assembly has at least two paddle members with counteracting ability in the air flow stream. The assembly additionally has one or more micro-jet propulsion devices coupled to a second end of the air intake chamber. One or more micro-jet propulsion devices suck the air flow current over the blade elements to generate a counterforce to contain torque from the single main rotor.
