The present invention describes composition and method of producing bioactive paint for surface coating of dental or orthopedic prostheses, especially implants. In particular, the composition comprises hydroxyapatite, resin, additives, solvent and curing agent. The present invention promotes a bioactive union between implant and bone, that is: chemical bonding between the surface of the implanted material and bone tissue, with no fibrous tissue interface between them.
