The present invention relates to [1±,2²,3±,5±]-1-(5-(cis-2-heptenoic acid))-2-(3±-hydroxy or lower alkyloxy-5-thienylpentyl)-3,5-dihydroxy cyclopentane lower alkyl, hydroxyl lower alkyl and indole lower alkyl amides and esters thereof as potent ocular hypotensives that are particularly suited for the management of glaucoma.
