The present invention refers to an industrial water heater or economizer for steam boilers, which is made of carbon steel or stainless steel in a vertical manner with a water volume of up to 1000 liters, which uses the heat from the steam used in the process at a maximum extent, also consuming the stored hot water; the water heater or economizer is formed by torispherical heads (upper head with coupling flange, lower head welded to the body of the tank), flanges in different sizes, one of these latter elements being the coil receiver flange (at the moment of arranging the coil inside the tank and outside the flange), legs, a coil in the inner portion of the carbon steel container; the water heater may condensate the injected steam by radiating the temperature of the steam, by means of the wall of the outer tube, to the water; the interior of the tank acts as a chamber for storing cold water, where said cold water and its pressure pushes by density the hot water to the upper portion of the tank, converting the upper portion of the tank into a heating chamber and sensor of the steam level by means of the signals emitted by probes for registering and measuring the temperature, also including different nipples, where one of them is coupled to a coil carrier flange, as well as couplings for installing temperature measuring instruments, valves for releasing the air and water pressure, an inlet of water recirculated from external water supplying installations.
