The present invention consists in a method for increasing the production of biomass and lentinan of mycelium of L. edodes in a submerged culture, using base media (medium GP 10 g/L of peptone and 40 g/L of glucose; medium of Lomberh 40 g/L of glucose, 3 g/L of (NH4) 2SO4, 0.5 g/L of Mg SO4. 7H2O, 1 g/L of KH2PO4, 1 g/L of K2HPO4, 2 of g/L of peptone, 2 g/L of yeast extract and 10 mL of trace solutions), which is prepared with: 0.4 g/L MnCl2.4H2O, 0.2 g/L of ZnCl2, 0.8 g/L of FeCl3.6H2O and 0.1 g/L of CuSO4.5H2O, by means of the supplementation with extracts of different polarities of vid wood (aqueous and ethanolic). This supplementation with extracts allows a kinetics of growth to be predictable due to the logistic method, which is important for the production of shiitake at industrial scale.
