Also disclosed is the use of (2R,3R)-2-(3-carbamimidoyl-benzyl)-3-[4-(1-oxy-pyridin-4-yl)Benzoylamino]-butyric acid methyl ester or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of non-ST elevation myocardial infarction said treatment comprising administering (2R,3R)-2-(3-carbamimidoyl-benzyl)-3-[4-(1-oxypyridin-4-yl) benzoylamino]butyric acid methyl ester or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to a human patient, who shows renal insufficiency; more particularly they show renal insufficiency and a creatinine (creatinin) clearance from 50 millilitre per min to 80 millilitre per min.
