An orthesis for construction of contractures of the knee relates to medical devices , namely, orthopedics, and can be used in treatment of disease of the lower extremities in the presence of bend or unbend contractures. The orthesis comprises two shells which are interconnected through hinged knee tire ; redressiruyuschy unit made in the form of two coupling halves , which by means of a threaded connection attached to the upper and lower forks at the ends of the threaded rods , the cylinder is mounted for movement , the cylindrical compression spring which is in contact with the upper coupling half , and that the coils with the end of the inner cylinder , the upper and lower forks pivotally connected via axles with two lugs which are rigidly attached to the orthosis .
