METHOD FOR EVALUATING EFFECIVENESS OF TREATMENT BY MELDONIUM PHOSPHATE OF PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE WITH STENOCARDIA AND ARTERIAL HIPERTENSION

A method for evaluating effeciveness of treatment by meldonium phosphate of patients with ischemic heart disease with stenocardia and arterial hipertension comprises the comparison of the patients before and after treatment . Before treatment with meldonium phosphate in motionless patients 5 ml of blood are collected from the cubital vein . The fluid properties of blood are determined by measuring blood viscosity on rotational viscometer at different bias voltages from 0.020 dynes/cmto 8.8 dynes/cm, then after treatment with meldonium phosphate 5 ml of blood are collected from the cubital vein and similar study is performed. If the viscosity of the blood at bias voltage of 0.3 dynes/cmdecreases by 7.7 % or more , compared with the voltage before treatment , the result of hemorheological and antianginal effect is evaluated as positive .
