A method for producing copper foil reinforced with nanosized alumina particles by the electrolysis of an aqueous electrolyte solution containing sulfuric acid and copper ions, at that 10-40 ml of sol is added to the electrolyte, which sol contains 10-40 % of nanosized alumina and the process is carried out at a current density of 1-3 A/dm, a temperature of 20- for 10-60 min.
