METHOD FOR DETERMINING RESISTANCE OF PLANTS TO ALLELOPATHICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

A method for determining resistance of plants to allelopathically active substances includes: using the plants, which comprise allelopathically active substances, and preparing extracts thereof. To obtain a plant extract, plant reproductive and vegetative organs are used, test-objects are involved, distilled water is added in an amount of 100 ml, an exposure of the extract is 60 minutes, the solution is filtered. Buds of wild species of beet are used in vitro and planted onto a nutrient medium adding the plant extracts, which are obtained of different reproductive and vegetative organs of sweet sorghum, the test-objects are cultivated at a temperature of 24±2 °C, the manifestation of the effect of allelopathic factors is determined in dynamics by the general state of development of a plant.
