METHOD FOR PREDICTING SEVERITY OF ROTAVIRAL GASTROENTERITIS IN CHILDREN

A method for predicting the severity of rotaviral gastroenteritis in the children comprises epidemiological, bacteriological and general clinical examinations of feces. In addition, the isolated rotaviruses of group A are genotyped by PCR. The total score of the tests provided with feces is indicative of the severity grade of rotaviral gastroenteritis.
