THE PRESENT INVENTION ADDRESSES ONE OF THE ISSUES IN 3 DIMENSIONAL (3D) GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) PARTICULARLY TO 3D SPATIAL MODELLING. TWO MATHEMATICAL THEORIES NAMELY SET AND EULER THEORIES ARE USED FOR VALIDATION OF 3D SPATIAL OBJECTS (101) WHICH ARE GENERATED OR CONSRUCTED FROM TRIANGULAR IRREGULAR NETWORK. THE VALIDATION PROCESS OF THE 3D OBJECTS IS CARRIED OUT BY DEVELOPING A COMPUTER PROGRAM AND COUPLED WITH AN OPEN SOURCE DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DBMS) SUCH AS POSTGRESQL.
