A process for producing an arabinose isomerase comprising: preparing a recombinant vector by inserting a gene encoding a arabinosatermófila isomerase having the amino acid sequence of SEQ. ID. NO: 3 from the Thermotoga neapolitanaDSM 5068, in the shuttle vector pCJ-1 KCCM 10611 or KCCM 10617 pCJ-7; transfecting a strain of the genus Corynebacterium with the recombinant vector, and produce arabinose isomerase by culturing the strain of the genus Corynebacterium.
