A method for manufacturing a printhead ink jet printer detinta jet comprising a photopolymer barrier (5) defining passageways (6) of the ink ejection chambers (7) formed on a substrate, said method comprising the steps of: - providing a substrate (1), - applying on a surface of said substrate a first adhesive layer (8) of a defotopolímero barrier, said first layer of a cationically polymerizable material parcialmentepolimerizado being made, - applying a second layer (9) above said first layer, said second layer ofa photopolymerizable material being made, - defining passageways (6) to the ink ejection chambers (7), and - contacting said printhead inkjet ink with an aqueous acidic contieneespecies order to cause said first adhesive layer partially polymerized photopolymer barrier dedicha p olimerice further, thereby improving the adhesion of the photopolymer barrerade on said surface of said substrate with time.
