Combination of nilotinib and chlorambucil for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia

A combination for simultaneous, separate or sequential use comprising (a) an agent that damages DNA and (b) 4-methyl-3 - [[4- (3-pyridinyl) -2-pyrimidinyl] amino] -N- [ 5- (4-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl) -3- (trifluoromethyl) phenyl] benzamide, in which the active ingredients (a) and (b) are present in each case in free form or in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, and wherein the DNA damaging agent is chlorambucil.
