A method of demultiplexing service instances of Provider Backbone Bridging Traffic Engineering, PBB-TE, the method comprising the steps of: monitoring (500) service instances between a first bridge port and a second bridge port (56) exchanging frames through each instance of service; receiving (502) the frames by means of the second bridge port (56) from the first bridge port, and characterized by demultiplexing (504) the frames received on the basis of an Ethernet Switched Path, ESP, of 3 tuples, by, demultiplexion of a MAC Address of Source of Backbone, B-SA, from the received frame; demultiplexing of a Backbone Destination MAC Address, B-DA, from the received frame; demultiplexing of a Backbone VLAN Identifier, B-VID, from the received frame, and transmission of the frames to different destinations (58, 60) using the B-SA, the B-DA and the demultiplexed B-VID.
