The present invention is comprised within tissueengineering and, specifically, within bone regeneration. Theinvention relates to a porous three-dimensional matrix ofmonetite which is biocompatible, has structured porosity andis predefined and reabsorbable, as well as to the method ofsynthesis capable of producing said material and theapplications thereof. These matrices are a perfect base forcell colonization and proliferation, allowing the applicationthereof in tissue engineering and bone regeneration as aresult of their advantageous properties of biocompatibility,reabsorption, osteoinduction, revascularization, etc.
