摘要

A catalytic muffler capable of reducing the temperature of an exhaust gas, comprising a muffler and a housing surrounding the muffler. The muffler is provided with an exhaust opening. The housing is provided at the front end thereof with an exhaust outlet. The exhaust opening is arranged in the rear part of the muffler. The housing is provided at the rear part thereof with an air inlet. The air inlet is connected to a cooling air outlet of an engine. The exhaust opening and the air inlet have formed therebetween an exhaust-mixing channel that allows a cooled air emitted by the engine to enter the exhaust-mixing channel to generate a hydrostatic effect with a high-temperature exhaust emitted from the exhaust opening and to be discharged from the exhaust opening after being mixed completely. The hydrostatic effect generated at the end-section of the exhaust-mixing channel by utilizing the cooling air of the engine and the exhaust emitted at a high speed by the muffler allows room-temperature air to enter the exhaust-mixing channel to be mixed with the high-temperature emission then to be emitted, and effectively reduces the temperature of the exhaust gas, thus provides a simplified structure and great cooling effects.
