A method for production of allylsilanes. The invention relates to a method for production of allylsilane (S), comprising the following process steps • (VI) production of allylsilane (S) of the general formula (1), R1R2R3Si-CH2-CR4=CHR5R6 (1) from an allyl chloride (AC) of the general formula (2) C1-CH2-CR4=CHR5R6 (2) and a silane (SH) of the general formula (3) R1R2R3Si-H (3). The method is characterized in that the reaction is performed in the presence of a water-insoluble auxiliary base B. The resultant product is separated off by distillation, the hydrochloride of the auxiliary base B (i.e. (B*HCl) remains in the sump. The auxiliary base B can optionally be recovered by a further aqueous metal hydroxide base by liquid-liquid extraction and separation of the organic phase.
