The invention relates to a method for a targeted increase in the electrical energy production of a heliothermal power station (1) consisting of a solar power station part (2) with a solar field circuit (3) and a conventional solar power station part (10) with a water/steam circuit (11), the energy produced in the solar power station part (2) being fed to the conventional power station part (10) by means of a heat exchange process and additional thermal energy being fed to the water/steam circuit (11) of the conventional power station part (10). The invention also relates to a device for a targeted increase in the electric energy production of a heliothermal power station (1), in particular a device for carrying out said method.
