Provided are a formation method for a conductive polymer free-standing film, the conductive polymer free-standing film, and a conductive laminate, said formation method characterized by including a step in which a resist layer and a conductive polymer layer are formed, in that order, upon a supporting body, and a step in which the resist layer is removed, the conductive polymer layer is detached, and the conductive polymer free-standing film is formed. As a result of this invention, an extremely thin conductive polymer free-standing film having a nano - submicron order film thickness, a formation method therefor and a conductive laminate are provided that are capable of simply and readily forming the conductive polymer layer upon, e.g., a non-woven, mesh, or other porous base material upon which the formation of a conductive polymer layer is normally difficult, a base material having a high surface roughness, or a base material having a curved surface.
