METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MULTIPAGE DOCUMENT WITH A HOLOGRAM AND MULTIPAGE DOCUMENT WITH A HOLOGRAM SUCH AS A PASSPORT

In a method for producing a multipage document, such as a passport, with a hologram and individual concealed information, a multipage booklet-like blank document is used such as a blank passport, having between its inner pages (3, 4) two transparent film pages (5, 6), a volume hologram being applied to the front side of the second film page (6). A passport picture (15) and individual concealed information as a semitransparent UV mask is printed on the front side of the first film page (5), after which a transparent UV lacquer is applied to the rear side thereof. Then, the first film page (5) is turned over onto the second film page (6) and laminated thereon, being exposed to UV light thereafter and partially cured, whereby a colour shift takes place. Then, the first film page (5) is delaminated and removed from the second film page (6), and fully cured with UV light. Thereby an individualised volume hologram as a holographic portrait and a surface structure with individual concealed information is available in a simple manner on the second film page (6).
