Disclosed are a self-balance high-pressure high-cutting reaction kettle and an application thereof in laminated composite metal hydroxide preparation. The present invention relates to the technical field of preparing an inorganic function material. A machine head of a high-cutting emulsion machine is disposed inside a reaction kettle, a driving system is disposed outside the reaction kettle, and the system pressure is kept stable by using a self-balance mechanical sealing apparatus; in this manner, the difficult problem is solved that the emulsion machine cannot be used for a high-pressure system, thereby ensuring that a crystallization reaction can be carried out in a high-pressure condition, so that a high-cutting effect is realized and therefore, the high-pressure high-cutting crystallization technology is implemented. The apparatus makes full use of the advantage that a large-sized apparatus can be additionally provided with a large-size additional device, so that the size effect in an amplifying process is eliminated, and the reaction effect is better than that of a small-size product. By using the self-balance high-pressure high-cutting reaction kettle, the reaction time is reduced to 2 to 6 hours from previous 24 hours, and the reaction temperature is decreased from 180 degrees centigrade to 140 degrees centigrade, so that a laminated composite metal hydroxide product with a smaller grain size and narrower particle size distribution is obtained.
