Systems and methods for a gambling hybrid game that provides a fantasy sports game as an entertainment game are disclosed. The entertainment engine manages a team for each player in a league of the game and compiles scores based on results of game play by participants on the teams. The results of the game play are provided a game world engine that determines when gambling events should be provided based on the results of game play.
