[Problem] In a configuration in which a VRRP network and a PBB network are connected to each other, the virtual MAC address of the VRRP is concealed, and as a result, the advantages of a virtual MAC address cannot be realized. [Solution] This PBB network is characterized by: being connected to a virtual router redundancy protocol (VRRP) network in which one of a plurality of routers constituting a virtual router is set up as a designated router; comprising a plurality of edge switches connected to the routers included in the VRRP network and a plurality of L2 switches connected to a client device, each of the edge switches constituting a virtual switch; and the edge switch of the plurality of edge switches that is connected to the designated router being set up as a designated switch.
